Verse 138mānasaṃ cetanā śaktir ātmā ceti catuṣṭayam ।
yadā priye parikṣīṇaṃ tadā tad bhairavaṃ vapuḥ ॥O dear one, when these four—mental [states], vital energy, individuated consciousness, and the self[-concept]—have dissolved, that is Bhairava-nature!

Contemplate mental states as empty and let them dissolve

Likewise prāṇa, consciousness, and the self—let them all dissolve until there is nothing left with which to identify

Be that radiant no-thing-ness.
