Yukti #94Verse 119
Empowered III
Verse 119vastuṣu smaryamāṇeṣu dṛṣṭe deśe manas tyajet  sva-śarīraṃ nirādhāraṃ kṛtvā prasarati prabhuḥ When seeing a place [one has been before], let go of things that arise in the memory (lit., set aside the faculty of attention in relation to remembered objects), and make your body ‘supportless’: [then] the Lord appears.
Planning note: This practice requires you to plan a trip to a place you used to frequently visit
Simplified Steps
Go to some place you used to frequent, and notice the memories that arise in association with it
Let go of all the memories, and notice that the place itself is free of your memories and thoughts about it.
What it is now is not what it was then; in the NOW it’s pure mystery.
Notice that likewise, your own body is not reducible to your thoughts about it (even the thought ‘my body’), and abide in the unthinkable NOW.
